Sarett Nature Center

1,000 acres in Benton Harbor, MI

Sarett is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community nature center located in Southwestern Michigan, along the Paw Paw River valley. Our primary focus is environmental education, and we also have over 1000 acres, 8 miles of trails, a nature center building, a tree top walkway and live native animals. Sarett Nature Center is located in Benton Harbor, MI on Benton Center Road, north of Red Arrow Highway. We focus on environmental education, but our nature center is open to the public to enjoy our trails. We also offer live animal displays, a butterfly house during the warm months, a nature play area for kids, cross-country ski rentals, snowshoe rentals, informational displays, naturalist-led natural history trips around the world, and interactive naturalist programs for the whole family throughout the year!
Trails are open every day from dawn to dusk.
